Ningyocho: BROZERS' (ブラザーズ)

Summary: Possibly the best burgers in the world. (eggs and pineapples in burgers FTW)

Step aside, MOS Burger.

Today, I would like to share with you all my humble opinion of what I think is possibly the best burger in Tokyo.

BROZERS' was opened in 2000, after owner Akio Kitaura, aged 25, came back from his training at Archies in Sydney, Australia.

He established his humble restaurant through trial and error around the time when burgers were considered only as junk food, and no one had the concept of gourmet artisan burgers.

Now, BROZERS' is one of the top ranking burger spots in Tokyo.

I highly recommend first timers at this restaurant to try their signature Lot Burger, which comes in a mouthwatering combination of burger patty, bacon, cheese, fried egg and pineapple rings.

All the burgers come with a side of fries, onion rings and a pickle, and customers can also choose a sauce to their liking from 4 different choices - their signature BBQ sauce, teriyaki, red-hot chili and sweet chili sauces.

The patties, made with a 7:3 ratio of Australian minced pork to wagyu marbled beef is juicy and tasty.

Although the burgers are volume-y, there is a certain level of balance to their ingredients.

Their wonderfully fluffy, buttered and griddled buns lovingly enclose the miracle that it holds inside. 

The cheese is extremely well-placed on the patty, and if you look closely, you will realise that the burger's cripsy lettuce has been arranged carefully to prevent their burgers from falling apart.

As expected of Japan - even their lettuce is origami.

At BROZERS', burger is not just food - its art.
I love how even their milkshakes come in stainless steel cups.
